KMAT Application Form 2017
Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is a common entrance test conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). The exam is conducted to give admission to the deserving candidates to various courses like MBA/PGDM/MCA programs. The KMAT score is used by more than 150 B-Schools of Karnataka and Bangalore.
This test is conducted for giving admission in post graduate courses. Application form for KMAT 2017 will be released in the month of April 2017 and the exam will be conducted in the month of May 2017. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria and other important information like Important Dates, Application fee, Process to Apply, Admission Process etc. before applying.

Eligibility criteria changes as per change in course. The detail of eligibility criteria for different courses is given below:
For MBA/PGDM Courses:
- Candidate must have done Graduation Degree in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent from any recognized university.
- Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation(40% for SC/ST Candidates).
For MCA :
- Bachelor degree from recognized university with 50% marks in graduation.
- Candidate must have studied Maths in 12th class level.
- Starting date to submit application form : April 2017
- Closing date to submit application form : May 2017
- Admit Card availability : two weeks before exam date
- Date of Examination: May 2017
- Result declaration date: June 2017
The application fee for KMAT 2017 is Rs. 700/-. Candidates can pay the application fee by online and offline mode. In the case of online payment mode, Candidates can pay the application fee by using debit card/credit card/net banking. In the case of offline payment mode, Candidates can pay the application fee by Demand Draft drawn in favor of KMAT, payable at Bangalore.
How to Apply For KMAT Application Form 2017
Candidates can apply for KMAT 2017 via online and offline mode as per the choice of applicant. In case of Online mode, Candidates can fill the online application form from the official website i.e. www.kmatindia.com. After filling the online application form, candidates have to pay application fee via online mode as mentioned above. Upload the scanned photo and signature etc. After filling the complete application form, click submit and registration number and password will be generated for further usage. Candidates are advised to take the printout of it for future use.
In case of offline mode, Candidates will send the filled application form and DD along with copy of relevant documents before last date to the address mentioned below :

Objective type multi-choice questions will be asked in the question paper. Candidates will be given OMR sheets to mark their answers. Total 120 questions will be asked and 120 minutes will be provided to attempt the examination. Each question will carry 4 marks and one extra mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. It means that there will be 1/4th negative marking. Questions will be asked in four sections. The detail of each section is given below:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension : 40 Questions
- Quantitative Ability : 40 Questions
- Logical Reasoning : 20 Questions
- General Awareness : 20 Questions
Counselling/ Selection Process
After commencement of written examination, the result will be issued and merit list will be published on the official website of Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association. Candidates will be issued score card on the basis of their performance in KMAT 2017. Candidates are required to apply separately for the participating institutions.After that, participating institutions will select candidates for admission on the basis of cut-off decided by the authority. Admission process may vary from institution to institution. Some institutions will also conduct GD and Personal Interview for giving admission.
